Privacy policy
Effective 2026-09-14 · Applies to YTMP3 at opinie-turystyczne.pl.
In a nutshell: this site has no accounts, no advertising and no profile of you, so there is almost nothing here to describe. Converting a video sends the video's identifier and the ordinary technical details of the request through our servers for as long as the conversion takes. What survives the request is a counter, not a history.
Who runs this site
opinie-turystyczne.pl publishes a YouTube downloader under the name YTMP3. It is an independent tool, not affiliated with YouTube, Google or any other site using the YTMP3 name. This policy covers what this site does with information when you use it. It does not cover YouTube, Google or anything else you reach by following a link from here — those sites set their own rules.
What a conversion involves
Three kinds of information move through our systems when you press MP4 or MP3:
- The video's identifier. Your browser reads the eleven-character ID out of the address you paste and sends that, not the address itself, to our relay. The relay uses it to request the video from the upstream conversion service and then discards it. Nothing links it to you or to whatever else you may have converted.
- The request itself. As with any web server, ours sees your IP address, the browser and operating system you are using, the time of the request and which page sent it. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes the same data to serve the site and to filter abusive traffic, under its own privacy terms.
- Conversion counters. Each attempt records which stage it reached, whether it succeeded, which format was chosen and roughly how long it took. These are aggregated for the site as a whole — they are there so we notice when conversions start failing — and they carry no video identifiers and no IP addresses.
What is never collected
- No name, no email address, no password. There is no account to create.
- No record of what you converted. We cannot produce, for you or for anyone else, a list of the videos you have downloaded here.
- No advertising identifiers, and no advertising scripts on the page.
- No copy of the finished file. It is delivered to your browser from the conversion service and is not stored by us.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no cookies of its own and writes nothing to your device. Cloudflare may set a purely technical cookie when it is deciding whether a request is genuine; that cookie exists to keep abusive traffic out and is not used to follow you around.
The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It is a cookieless system: it does not fingerprint visitors, does not build a profile, and does not track you across other websites. What we see from it is aggregate — how many people loaded the page, and roughly from where.
The services behind the tool
Delivering a download takes three outside services, and it is fair to know what each sees:
- Cloudflare hosts the pages and the relay, and therefore handles the request metadata described above.
- The upstream conversion service receives the video identifier and performs the conversion. It is the component that actually fetches and encodes the video.
- A residential proxy provider carries the relay's outbound requests. Because the traffic is encrypted end to end, what passes through it is the destination and the volume of the request, not its content.
How long anything is kept
The video identifier lives only as long as the conversion request. Server logs at our hosting provider are retained on Cloudflare's standard schedule and then expire. Aggregate counters are kept indefinitely, because a count with nothing personal in it does not become more sensitive with age.
Your rights
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or another jurisdiction with data-protection law, you have the usual rights: access, correction, deletion, restriction, and objection to processing. In practice there is very little for them to act on — with no accounts and no per-visitor history, a request to delete "your data" usually has nothing to delete. If you think that is not true in your case, write to us and explain what you believe we hold; we will answer within 30 days. The lawful basis for the processing described above is our legitimate interest in running a working, abuse-free service.
Children
The site is not directed at children and collects nothing from anyone, of any age. There is no feature that could ask a child for personal information.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with a new effective date at the top. Substantial changes will be reflected in the summary paragraph rather than buried in the body, so the short version stays the short version.
